About SHWE ME GROUP OF COMPANIES

Shwe Me Co., Ltd. was established in 1995 with three friends, U Tun Lwin, U Naing Moe and U Ye Lwin, who are still the directors in the Company.
The first business operation of Shwe Me Co., Ltd. is the local trading of Petroleum which is sourced from Magway region and delivered to many cities of Myanmar with trucks and barges.
Leveraging the competency and experience of the earlier operation, it has expanded its businesses into trading of beans and pulses from Magway, Sagaing, Bago and Yangon Regions to India and many other Asian Countries.
In 2003, it has started its partnership with Siam Cement Group (SCG) from Thailand for the import of cement and building materials for many infrastructure projects.
Over the course of 28 years, from the humble beginnings, Shwe Me Co., Ltd. has expanded many business lines and sectors through its experience and local connections, by investing in other companies and by successfully forming partnerships with foreign counterparts.
